Virtual RAISE Quiz 2021
Alethea sparkles once again as the team led by Chamu Thenuja and members Leora Abigail, Akishya De Zoysa and Rasal Hewage emerge victorious at a quiz competition organized by UTO EduConsult.
The Virtual RAISE Quiz in which many leading schools from Colombo took part was held on 08th & 09th February 2021.
Two Teams from Alethea took part in the event. The junior team led by Vethum De Silva and members Sahana Ganeshkumar, Dewli Edirisinghe, Dushmitha Rajayogeswaran, Guwani De Silva and Fathima Zeenath Zihar, was placed 4th in the preliminary round. However, the senior team qualified for the grand final which was held today (12th February 2021)
With 5 rounds of 10 questions each, under the categories: General Knowledge, Sports, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Current Affairs and Mastermind, the Team faced each round with flying colours, thus securing a top-three position in all 5 rounds. In conclusion with a score of 31218 points and a lead of 6437 points Team Alethea was placed 1st in the Virtual RAISE Quiz 2021.
